YOGA

The term ‘yoga’ is derived from the sanskrit root yoj (pronounced ‘yog’) which translates to union, or joining together.

Through the physical practice of moving through asanas, or postures, with breath and intention we encourage this union, generally of mind and body.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

Meditation and breath work are inherently part of a yoga practice.

We practice intention setting at the beginning of each class, breathe through each movement, and close each class with savasana.

HAND BALANCING

Advance your practice with hand balancing! Hand balancing favours a proper foundation of core strength and balance and reminds us there is always more to master.. 🙂
